Fighting Inflation
Bob Stefanowski’s
Plan for Inflation Relief
Families and businesses are hurting, and they need immediate relief from the burden of Biden/Lamont inflation.
The state has overtaxed residents by billions of dollars, and the Governor should be doing more to ease the financial burden.
My plan to help right now is to cut the sales tax, suspend state taxes on gasoline and diesel, eliminate Ned Lamont’s new tax on restaurants and prepared foods and trucks and eliminate the over $400 million small business tax.
Governor Lamont doesn’t understand the impact his policies have on small businesses and consumers. He’s running a campaign pretending everything is fine, patting himself on the back for a job well done while businesses and families are struggling. Governor Lamont and the insiders in charge of state government might be doing ok, but the vast majority of people are struggling, and they need a Governor who will listen and take bold action. That’s what I’m going to do.
We need a bottom-up approach to economic prosperity in Connecticut, and that means letting people keep their money before politicians get their hands on it.
We should be finding ways to help as many people as possible and as quickly as possible.
