Rep. Noreen Kokoruda Endorses Bob Stefanowski

BRANFORD, CT – Today, State Representative Noreen Kokoruda endorsed Bob Stefanowski, Republican candidate for Governor.


Rep. Kokoruda, who represents Durham and Madison is a leader in education policy in the state General Assembly and is a believer in instilling a bipartisan spirit in local politics.


“Bob understands that politics is about the people, not the partisanship. He is committed to restoring fiscal sensibility in the state of Connecticut and understands that conservative solutions to our problems can reach across the aisle.”


Rep. Kokoruda added, “I believe that Bob can restore the confidence of our residents in our Department of Education and our school systems across the state.”


Rep. Kokoruda, the Minority Caucus Chair, also serves on the Children, Appropriations, and Education committees. There, her legislative work was recently recognized by the Connecticut Association for the Gifted (CAG) for its advocacy of gifted children across the state as well as receiving the Connecticut Early Childhood Alliance’s Kid Championship Award. Her act, which passed unanimously in the General Assembly, improved programming and education of talented students through the Department of Education.


Rep. Kokoruda has built a successful career on public and community service.

Stefanowski who resides with his wife and three daughters in Madison, CT was formerly a senior executive with General Electric and the Chief Financial Officer of UBS Investment Bank. He has introduced a five step economic plan to save Connecticut that has been endorsed by Dr. Arthur Laffer, senior economic advisor to President’s Trump and Reagan.
